WASHINGTON, D. C.—A modification to an existing contract has been issued to BAE Systems Ordnance Systems, Holston Army Ammunition Plant of Kingsport. 

            Congressman Bill Jenkins said the modified contract amounts to $6.6 million, with a cumulative amount of the contract totaling $32.8 million issued by the U. S. Army 

            Jenkins said the contract calls for the production and supply of 871,761 pounds of Comp C-4, Class 3 explosives to support the M112 Demo Blocks Program. 

            All of the work will be performed at the Kingsport plant, the congressman related. 

            The estimated completion date for the action is April 27, 2008.
