WASHINGTON, D.C.—A federal grant of $52,737 has been approved for East Tennessee State University.

            Congressman Bill Jenkins said Tuesday the funds are made available by the U. S. Department of Health & Human Services and will be used for advanced education nursing traineeships.  The project director is Jo-Ann Marrs. 

            The grant budget period extends to June 30, 2006.
