Legislation by Congressman Jackson

United States Capitol building in winterI entered the United States House of Representatives in December of 1995, the end of the 1st Session of the 104th Congress. I introduced my first pieces of legislation on the same day during the 105th Congress. I sought to amend certain provisions of the welfare program's mandatory community work requirements. For details on the fate of those early legislative efforts and others, please see below. Click here for a more detailed search of all congressional legislation.
