U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee meets with volunteers from the U.S. Public Interest Research Group (PIRG). PIRG volunteers serve their communities across the nation to raise public awareness on issues of concern, such as the environment and higher education. WashPIRG, the Washington state division of PIRG, recently awarded Inslee with the "Public Interest Champion Award" for his work in Congress to protect the environment and uphold the Roadless Rule.
