Announcing Grant at Neah Power Systems

U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee announces a $2 million federal grant to Neah Power Systems CEO David Dorheim (center) and Chief Technical Officer Leroy Ohlsen (right) during a tour of the company's office in Bothell, WA. The grant from the Advanced Technology Program (ATP) of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce will help fund a two-year, $6.5 million research program to continue development of Neah Power's micro fuel cell for use in notebook PCs and other portable electronic devices. ATP grants are highly competitive.
