U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee is filmed by a Kiro cameraman in Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. As the highest ranking Democrat on the House Resources Subcommittee on Forests and Forest Health, Inslee works on many aspects of national forest policy and has championed a number of efforts to protect forests from clear-cutting and logging. Kiro TV was filming a documentary about old growth trees in the Northwest, and they sought not only Inslee's expertise on a broad array of forest conservation issues, but more specifically his efforts to protect old growth trees West of the Cascade mountains in Washington and Oregon.
