  • Metro Map- Official Washington D.C. Metro Subway System map. Parking is very limited in Washington, DC. Taxis, buses, and the Metro subway are available every day for transportation to and from Capitol Hill. Visitors are encouraged to use the Metro system

  • Capitol Complex Map- User-friendly interactive map of the Capitol grounds and office buildings, including the Supreme Court and the Library of Congress. Be sure to click on the highlighted buildings fro more information about each building.

Ticket Available Through Our Office

Citizens of Southwest Indiana are encouaraged to contact Congressman Hostettler's office for tickets to several important attractions including the U.S. Capitol Building including the House and Senate galleries, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and the State Department.  Children must be at least six years of age to be admitted to the Senate gallery. In the House, children under 10 are allowed in the gallery if accompanied by an adult. Both galleries are open between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM, but may open earlier, depending on when the House and Senate are in session.  To request tickets, please contact Congressman Hostettler's Washington office at (202) 225-4636.

White House Ticket Advisory

As of April 25, 2003, White House tours are limited to school and youth groups grades one through 12 and organized U.S. military and veteran groups.  These self-guided tours are scheduled from 7:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.  Please understand that a very limited number of tours are available and that the White House may not be able to satisfy every request.  Such group requests may be submitted through Congressman Hostettler's office by emailing or calling Peter Barrett at (202) 225-4636.
