WASHINGTON—House Majority   Whip Roy Blunt (Mo.) today issued the   following statement on John “I voted for it   before I voted against it” Kerry:

“John Kerry   says he’s being attacked by ‘right-wing nut jobs.’ Yet it is the American Legion   and Harold Ford who demand an apology for his reprehensible comments on the   intelligence of our troops.

“Nancy   Pelosi’s voting record mirrors John Kerry’s. Does she stand, once again, by her   former Democrat presidential candidate and with the likes of George Soros,   Barbara Streisand and Howard Dean? Or will she come out of hiding and denounce   Kerry’s despicable remarks?

“I denounce   John Kerry's statement, demand an apology for our troops, and call on Nancy   Pelosi to do the same.

“Irregardless,   Nancy Pelosi’s record is clear. At every opportunity she has stood with John   Kerry and voted against our troops, and would continue her long, proud, liberal,   anti-military record if elected Speaker of the House.”
