Ordering a U.S. Flag

Flag Request Order Form - PDF (Please print out, complete, and mail to my Chico office, with accompanying payment)

The flags listed below have been flown over the Capitol and are available for purchase. The prices all include the cost of mailing and flying the flags, as well as a special Certificate of Authentication from the Architect of the Capitol.

Please select the flag you wish to purchase, and send your request to one of my Congressional offices. I can accept checks and money orders only, and they must be made payable to CONGRESSMAN HERGER’S STATIONERY ACCOUNT.

If you would like to have a flag flown over the Capitol on a specific date, please make note of the date and forward it to me at least eight weeks prior to the date the flag is to be flown.

Also, if you would like to have a flag flown for any special occasion, such as a military retirement or in remembrance of someone, please let me know. I am more than happy to have these events documented on the flag’s official certificate.

All flags will be sent to you promptly by regular mail.

Service Academy Applications Being Accepted

As your member of Congress, I have the honor of recommending young men and women for appointment to our nation's service academies. These fine schools include the U.S. Military Academy, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, and the Merchant Marine Academy. These institutions provide the unique opportunity to train for a career as an officer in our armed forces.  

Members of Congress may nominate applicants who meet the eligibility requirements established by law to the following academies:

• Army
• Navy
• Air Force
• Merchant Marine

To initiate the application process, please complete the following form below to apply with my office.  Application and additional required materials are to be completed and/or postmarked no later than October 31^st of the year preceding admission.  All forms are to be mailed to my Chico District Office.
