Commemorating the Tenth Anniversary of Welfare Reform
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the successful 1996 welfare reforms, which were responsible for lifting millions of American out of poverty and dependence on welfare and into work and self-sufficiency.
Each month, starting with February, the Ways and Means Human Resources Subcommittee will be releasing a report highlighting a specific outcome of the successful reforms.
