| Description: The bill would extend the Wool Trust Fund through 2011, and provide grants to manufacturers who weave worsted and wool fabric in the United States. The Wool Research, Development, and Promotion Trust Fund provides funding for the American Sheep Industry for product development and new uses, raw wool quality improvement, new technologies, international and domestic marketing of U.S. wool, improving wool production methods, and securing and retaining new markets for U.S. wool producers. |
