| Description: Senate Resolutions are non-legislative vehicles by which the U.S. Senate, as a body, can voice its views and in some instances, establish policy regarding the management and operation of Senate facilities. This resolution allowed for individual Senate offices to solicit donations in the form of food, clothing and other necessities to help to provide relief for the victims of the recent hurricanes on the Gulf Coast. My office joined in these efforts to provide help for our fellow citizens who have lost so much in these disasters, and I was proud to cosponsor this resolution. |
