Internship Programs - For College and High School Students

   

Congressman Miller is pleased to offer high school students, college students and recent college graduates the opportunity to work in Congress.

    

FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS AND GRADUATES

Mr. Miller offers paid and unpaid internships in his Washington, DC and Brea, Ca offices. This is a great way for qualified applicants to supplement their academic career by gaining hands on experience in the political process. To apply, complete Mr. Miller's Intern Application and email required documents to capitolconnection@mail.house.gov or mail or fax them to the office in which you are seeking a position. For more information, visit Job Description/ How to Apply or call 202-225-3201 (DC internship coordinator) or 714-257-1142 (CA internship coordinator).

   

Washington, DC Internship Availability: Mr. Miller is seeking college graduates and current college students to serve in his Capitol office for the fall term (beginning August 2006).  This is a PAID position.  For more information call 202-225-3201.

     

Brea Internship Availability: Mr. Miller is seeking college graduates and current college students to serve in his district office for the summer term (beginning June 2006).  This is a NON-PAID position.  For more information call 714-257-1142.

  

FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Mr. Miller recommends one high school sophomore each year to spend their junior year working, living and attending 11th grade in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC. Known as pages, they receive free schooling (junior level only), board, food and monetary compensation. To learn more about the page program, including eligibility requirements, work responsibilities, housing, student dress code, schooling and compensation visit Mr. Miller's Page Program: What you need to know.
