American flags have flown over our United States Capitol since World War I. The star-spangled banner serves as a universal symbol of liberty, justice and democracy. I am proud to offer residents of the Fourth District the opportunity to purchase an American flag flown over the United States Capitol in honor of a person or for a special occasion. 

To request a flag flown over the US Capitol, please fill out a flag request form. To view this form you must have Microsoft Word on your computer. 

Please note that orders must be received at least two weeks prior to the date of flying. Orders received after the two-week deadline may not be flown on the date requested, but will be flown as soon as possible. 

Current prices for flags are as follows:

Your check should be made payable to the "Office Supply Service Account of J. Randy Forbes" and dated on the day you are requesting the flag be flown. Due to continued mail delays at the United States Capitol, we ask that you please mail the request to:

Mail request and check to Congressman Forbes' nearest district office.  Please do not mail flag request to Washington, DC as mail delays will add an additional 4 weeks processing time to your flag request. Thank you!

Please allow six to eight weeks from flying date for capitol processing and shipping.
