If you're having a problem with a federal agency, believe me, you're not alone. Each year, thousands of constituents have questions or need help with federal agencies. If you can't get an answer from a federal agency in a reasonable time, or if you have been treated unfairly, my office might be able to help resolve a problem or get you the information you need. Here's some information that might be of help for the most common questions we are asked.
The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance
is a free database that contains useful information about every type of federal
project the federal government funds, their eligibility requirements and contact
information for each program. There are also tips on writing federal grant
proposals for first-time users.
- Veterans
Problems with veterans benefits, eligibility determination, VA home loans, and replacement of medals earned.
- Social Security
Social Security benefits, eligibility determination or missing checks.
- Immigration
Assistance with naturalization applications, immigrant petitions for relatives and adjustment of status applications that are delayed or lost.
- Housing
Problems with housing vouchers, federal loan and HUD programs.
- Flooding
Preparing for and responding to this persistent problem in some areas of the 7th District.
- Passports
Getting passports in an emergency, lost passports and overseas travel restrictions.
- Privacy Release Form
When requesting information or assistance from Mike Ferguson's office, it is sometimes necessary to sign a privacy release form to grant us access to retrieve your information. Please print and complete this form, sign it and mail to my office.
