H.R. 547 : The Graduation for All Act targets the school districts with the lowest graduation rates by providing grants to improve adolescent literacy; provides resources for schools to develop individual graduation plans for students who are most at risk of not graduating; and strengthens accountability by requiring states and school districts to disaggregate graduation rates in the same manner that test results must be reported and to set benchmarks for improving graduation rates.  The bill has been endorsed by the International Reading Association, the National Association of Secondary School Principals, Hispanic Education Coalition,  National Education Association, the Learning Disabilities Association, the National Council of Teachers of English, National Council of La Raza, and the National Association of Career and Vocational-Technical Education.
