Students from Hernando, Lake and Pasco Counties Nominated for Service Academies

Patrol and a Vice Corps Commander and Corps Commander in the Air Force Junior
ROTC. Casey is also a member of the Phi
Theta Kappa Society, National Beta Club, and a member of the National Honor
Society. Casey is also the second member
of his family to enter West Point; his older brother Kyle graduated in
2004. Casey’s service and leadership, in
addition to his academic record, have proven him worthy of selection to West
Point.
Port Richey, Florida and is currently enrolled at the United States Military
Academy Preparatory School. Maria was a
varsity member of her high school track and field and cross country team, as
well as a junior varsity member of the tennis team. Maria has been an active participant in the
National Honor Society, Key Club, Teen Court and the Future Business Leaders of
America. After earning fifteen college
credits during her high school career, Maria has also taken classes at University
of South Florida to help advance her college career and eventually gain a
nomination to West Point.
