Transportation
Known as the “Crossroads of America,” transportation is a critical element of Indiana’s economy and a tremendous resource for job creation. I will continue to support funding for U.S. 31, the Hoosier Heartland Highway, and other important transportation projects throughout Indiana’s Second Congressional District because I believe that improving the nation’s infrastructure and roads is a priority.
As a former small business owner I understand the importance of good roads to commerce and I will fight to ensure that Indiana receives its fair share of federal transportation funding during debate over the Transportation Equity Act and the Highway Trust Fund.
