Senator Dodd Attends Breakfast Honoring High School Science Talent Search Winners

Senator Dodd attended a breakfast honoring the 40 finalists in the Intel Science Talent Search--the nation's top high school researchers in math, science and engineering. Two students from Connecticut were among the finalists: Kiran Pendri of South Glastonbury and Jonathan Sellon of Westport.

Kiran's project was titled Macrocyclization Using Ring-Closing Olefin Metathesis: Synthesis of a 13-Member Dithiolactone.

Jonathan's project was titled Modeling Auditory Attention by Implementing IHC Movement into Frequency Selectivity of the Inner Ear: A Novel Approach to Stimuli Separation.
