Monday, August 01, 2005 Hoyer Tours Calvert Cliffs and Cove Point Pier Congressman Steny H. Hoyer, (D-MD) today reviewed the security measures in place to keep Constellation's Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, the Dominion Cove Point LNG facility and the communities surrounding each facility protected. Rep. Hoyer was given a tour of Calvert Cliffs and watched a demonstration of the security exercises employed by the Coast Guard on the Chesapeake Bay. Mr. Hoyer also took a ride on a Coast Guard boat to the Cove Point docking pier to tour the offshore platform.
