Steel Caucus
The Congressional Steel Caucus is a bipartisan group of House members
who represent districts with steel manufacturers. Through legislation,
roundtable discussions and hearings, the caucus focuses on the needs
of the steel industry and what it takes to level the playing field
for employers and preserve American jobs.
U.S. Rep.
Phil English is the chairman of the caucus while U.S.
Rep. Pete Visclosky is the vice chairman. The caucus is made
up of about 110 members from both sides of the aisle. It is further
broken down into a 14-member executive committee.
