Emanuel Congratulates CME, CBOT on Merger

CHICAGO, IL—U.S. Representative Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) released the following statement congratulating Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings and the Chicago Board of Trade on their planned consolidation:

            “I congratulate the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade on this historic merger.  The consolidation of these two great exchanges is a boon to the global futures marketplace and the City of Chicago.”
