Firefighter,
Annandale, Virginia
Sarah Goldman, 25, has been a firefighter in Annandale, Virginia for two years. She started off as a volunteer, and worked toward a full time job. “To me, the most important thing about being a firefighter is the role I have in my community,” Sarah said. “I grew up here, and I’ve settled down here. It’s really a privilege to have the opportunity to protect this community.”
