Internship Program

If you are presently a university/college student and a Vermont resident with an active interest in government, you should consider the unique experience of joining my staff as an intern. As an intern you will have the opportunity to experience the legislative process at work while becoming an integral part of my staff.

Senate Page Program

If you are a civic-minded high school student from the state of Vermont, I encourage you to apply for the Congressional Page program. This program provides an excellent opportunity for you to learn about Congress while living, working, and attending classes for a semester in Washington, D.C.

Law Clerk Program

Law clerkships provide an excellent opportunity to learn about Congress and the legislative process. I welcome applications from Vermont residents who are currently attending law school or students of Vermont Law School.

Service Academy Nominations

High School students and guidance counselors can contact my Burlington office to request nominations for the U.S. Military Academy, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, and the Merchant Marine Academy.
