- Recommendations to Military Academies
- Each year I have the opportunity to nominate several promising young men and women from the
6th Congressional District to the four service academies -- West Point, the Coast Guard
Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy and the Air Force Academy-- which are largely responsible
for producing the next generation of military leadership in our country.
This year's
deadline for completion of the application process is
Nov. 6, 2006, and qualified high
school students should request an information packet by the summer before their senior
year to allow ample time to forward transcripts and other materials to the academy of

- White House Greetings
- Constituents may wish to order greetings from the
White House to commemorate a special occasion or event. These are applicable to
anniversaries of 50 years and over; special birthdays, condolences and graduations.

information.
