Spending much of the 1930's on Cape Cod, Edward Hopper quietly created rich realist images that capture the beauty of the region.  Click here for an online exhibition of many of his rarely seen works, now on display at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American Art.

Library of Congress: Jackie Robinson Celebrate Jackie Robinson's breaking Major League Baseball's color-barrier by visiting this Library of Congress "virtual exhibit."   It's chock full of details about Robinson's remarkable story, and the history of baseball in general.
