Welcome to Calvert County

Stand-by for additional results following the General Election.  The County will canvass absentee ballots on Thursday, 9Nov at 10a.m. in the Lusby Conference Suites.  Provisional Ballots will be canvassed at 10a.m. on Monday, 13Nov, in the Lusby Suites.  Overseas military and any remaining absentee ballots will be canvassed on Friday 17Nov, at 10a.m. in the Lusby Suites.  Finally, the State Board of Elections will Certify the elections on 17Nov after the final absentee ballots have been canvassed by the local boards of elections.

The Calvert County Election Board registers any eligible person who wishes to vote, and is responsible for all registrations for County, State, and National Elections, as well as the registrations for the Municipalities of the County. This office also helps persons seeking elective office with candidate filing and campaign fund reports, helps citizens seeking to place questions on the ballot, and maintains electoral information.

The Calvert County Election Board is committed to providing the highest level of customer service to all voters and prospective voters in Calvert County.  We are dedicated to ensuring that all voters can vote in private, in a trouble-free environment, and be assured that their vote will count.
