Are You Visiting Washington, D.C.?

If you are planning to visit Washington D.C., I'd like to make you aware of the services I offer from the Washington office. I recommend that you contact the Canton office as soon as you set the dates for your travel.

After you contact me, I will send you a packet of useful information that will help you plan your trip to the nation’s capital. The packet includes a street map of Washington, D.C. as well as information on area transportation, hotel accommodations, museums and other attractions.

In addition, you may make appointments to take tours of the Capitol building given daily by a member of my staff. Please be advised these tours are limited to 15 individuals and fill rapidly. When scheduling your trip, please keep in mind Spring and Fall are very busy tourists seasons and you will need to schedule well in advance to obtain one of these limited tours.

We also receive a very limited number of tickets to other area sites including the White House, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and the FBI. These tickets also go very quickly and need to be scheduled months in advance. Once again, be sure to contact the Canton office to check on the availability of these special tickets as soon as your travel dates are set.

Even if you have last minute plans for a trip to the nation’s capital and all these tours are booked, all is not lost as there are public tours available well worth the wait!

Washington, D.C. has a great deal to offer its visitors. I encourage you to take advantage of our services and stop in to visit the Washington, D.C. office while you are in town. If you would like passes to the House of Representatives or Senate galleries to see Congress in session these are also available in the Washington office.

The office is on the third floor of the Rayburn House Office Building across Independence Avenue from the Capitol building. Have a safe trip and I hope I can help make your trip to Washington a memorable one.
