A newsfeed can instantly inform both constituents and the press about site updates and new press releases. Really Simple Syndication (RSS) news feeds is an open platform, which has allowed many Congressional offices, newspapers, and other Web sites to provide Internet news feeds. These feeds can be collected into one place using newfeed reader programs, which become a central clearinghouse for the various newsfeeds. In addition, you can easily see when when your favorite websites have added new content. More and more sites provide RSS feeds every day. Sites which have RSS feeds will display XML or RSS.
