Boustany: Confirmation Will Bring Closure to Proposal

 

Lafayette, LA – U.S. Representative Charles W. Boustany, Jr. today joined other members of the Louisiana Congressional Delegation in asking the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for confirmation that the State of Louisiana will not be pursuing its I-10/I-12 tolling proposal submitted in writing to the FHWA in March.

 

“The idea of putting tolls on Interstates 10 and 12 is one that never should have seen the light of day in the first place,” said Boustany.  “It is my hope that, following confirmation from the FHWA, we can all finally bring closure to this story once and for all.”
