- Jurisdiction: (1) Immigration, refugees, & naturalization; (2) Oversight of the Immigration & Naturalization Service of the Department of Justice, the Office of Unfair Immigration Related Employment Practices, the Executive Office of Immigration review, & the Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs; (3) private immigration relief bills; and (4) Oversight of international migration & refugee laws & policy.

- Jurisdiction: (1) Youth violence & directly related issues; (2) federal programs under the Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, as Amended (including the Runanway & Homeless Youth Act), and (3) Oversight of the Office of Justice Programs & Community Oriented Policing Office.
