As your representative in Washington, part of my job is to work for legislation that will benefit the individuals, families and businesses of Colorado's Sixth Congresssional District. I've written and introduced many bills myself. I've also co-sponsored legislation by working side by side with my colleagues in Congress who share our concerns.
If you would like to know more about legislation I have worked on, check the box below. Additionally, for information on a specific bill or to search by a key word or phrase, use the Search Thomas box below. You will be accessing Thomas Legislative Information on the Internet, a Library of Congress web site.

Committees
Below is list of the Congressional committees of which I have been assigned.
Today, leadership by the United States is essential in promoting democracy, prosperity, and respect for human rights throughout the world. As a member of the International Relations Committee, I will work to ensure our participation in the world community is effective in promoting our values and ensuring peace and stability in a changing world. I will also work to promote respect for human rights in places like Sudan, Communist China and any other areas where freedoms are limited.
One of my priorities in Congress is to maintain Colorado’s unique quality of life - that’s why I am excited to serve on the House Resources Committee, which oversees a myriad of environmental and recreational programs. This year I will work to ensure that our state and national parks are well maintained in order to support the ever growing number of outdoor enthusiasts in Colorado. |
