A top priority of Mark's is making sure our men and women in the military are well trained, equipped, and compensated. As a Member of the Senate Committee on Armed Services, he also considers it a priority to help the families of our fallen heroes. To that end, through his own efforts and his colleagues' on the Committee, death gratuity payments have doubled since 2002. Regardless of this improvement, Mark believes we should increase the death gratuity payment many times over. Mark vows that, in the years to come, he will continue to fight for the men and women in our armed forces and also for their families, who so admirably support them.
