Senator Dodd discusses keeping the Winchester Plant open.

February 23, 2006
Believing that Winchester is an iconic American product and is often thought of as one of the “Guns that won the West,” Senator Dodd met with managers of the United States Repeating Arms Company in New Haven to ask them to consider all options before making a final decision to discontinue production of Winchester rifles in New Haven. Senator Dodd also met with the workers that manufacture these rifles to discuss his support for keeping the Winchester Repeating Arms Plant open.
