Oxford Air Force Sergeant Injured in Afghanistan Visits Dodd

Senator Dodd met with Staff Sgt. Michael Sciortino of Oxford, CT, who received the Purple Heart after being injured during the conflict in Afghanistan. Sciortino was one of five U.S. servicemen wounded in an explosion inside a fortress in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. Sciortino, with his wife, met with Dodd during a visit to Washington.
