The Chesapeake & Delaware Canal runs 14 mi. from Delaware to Maryland, connecting the Delaware River with the Chesapeake Bay. The canal offers commrecial and natural history, wildlife and boat viewing opportunities, and a host of extraordinary bridges.
My vision is to keep the elements of nature and history in tact while develop recreational opportunities along the stretch of the canal including biking and hiking trails, paved pathways and parking.
