Internship Program
Requirements:
- Consult with your school’s intern coordinator
regarding the applicability of course credits.
- Research available housing in the DC metro area.
(The Committee does not provide housing.)
- Determine a learning objective.
- Submit a writing sample, resume and transcript to the
Committee.
- Schedule an interview (telephone interview is fine).
- Knowledge of computer applications (MS Office).
How to Succeed in your Internship:
DO
- Have a neat business-like appearance.
- Be punctual.
- Use proper telephone etiquette.
- Keep work area organized.
- Be a self-starter.
- Be a team player.

DON'T
- Wear non-professional attire such as jeans,
sneakers, etc.
- Have repeated tardiness or absenteeism.
- Make excessive personal phone calls.
- Expect to change the world in one day!
