Fellowship Opportunities

We are seeking professionals who have expertise in education or workplace policy issues who want to learn how the legislative process works. The term of a fellowship is flexible, however in order to fully appreciate the legislative process, a commitment of at least 9 months to one year is appropriate with some flexibility.  Fellowships are unpaid. The Committee is composed of 27 Republican Members representing all sections of the country and Republican points of view.  Fellows work as part of a legislative team on pending issues before the Subcommittees and Full Committee. Placement is determined by an applicant’s previous and current employment experience, education and life experiences. As a team member, fellows have the opportunity to participate in drafting legislation, preparing documents for members of Congress and their staffs, staff meetings and briefings, and research.

Fellowships have proven rewarding in personal development and helpful in advancing career goals. If you are interested in becoming a Fellow on the Education and the Workforce Committee, please contact:
