Congressman Chocola has long been an advocate for Hoosier
family values, and now his commitment has been recognized by the legislative
arm of the Family Research Council (FRCAction). According to FRCAction, the
“True Blue” Award, given to Congressman Chocola this year, honors Members of
Congress who have exhibited extraordinary leadership and commitment to the
defense of family, faith, and freedom. Recipients of the award voted
consistently for pro-life and pro-family issues.
“I have always voted my values,” commented Chocola. “It is
nice to be recognized for applying Hoosier values to the legislative issues we
face on a daily basis.”
“The Members of the 109th Congress who received this award
have been consistent, stalwart allies of American families,” said FRCAction
President Tony Perkins. “These Members are to be commended for supporting
public policy that values human life, protects our religious liberties, and
upholds the institutions of marriage and family. Values voters should be
encouraged by these Members who have shown a commitment to protecting and
strengthening the family.”
Members of Congress are rated according to FRCAction’s new
scorecard covering House votes during the 2nd session of the 109th Congress.
These votes include:

been recognized by them as a Member of Congress who shares their commitment to
protecting our families, our faith, and our freedom.”
