Washington - Vice Chairman Dorgan has made several speeches on the Senate floor, during which he tells stories shared by tribal leaders and Indian people about the health care problems faced in American Indian and Alaska Native communities, and the hardships they face receiving adequate health care services. Senator Dorgan ties these stories to the need for Congress to pass legislation to reauthorize the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (S. 1057).
