(Manchester, NH) – First District Congressman Jeb Bradley today issued the following statement regarding the death of Manchester Police Officer Michael Briggs, who was shot in the line of duty yesterday:<br>

“My heart goes out to the family of Officer Michael Briggs in this time of mourning.  I also extend my deepest regrets to the members of the Manchester Police Department.  These brave men and women put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe, and we are grateful for their selfless service.  Officer Briggs and his family will remain in my thoughts and prayers, and I know the citizens of New Hampshire join me in mourning one of the Granite State’s bravest heroes.”
