This page will provide you with a reference for information about both government and private entities that offer financial assistance to individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations and state and local governments. The links on this page offer helpful information that will enable you to research efficiently and will guide you on writing grant proposals. This is, however, only a partial list and you should not limit your funding search to only the internet addresses on this page.

Please contact Rep. Royce at (714) 992-8081 with any questions on grants or for more information on the grant process that is not listed on this page.

A tip for grantseekers: If you know your desired grant would be in a specific field then you can start by searching that agency's or department's web site directly, i.e. for education grants search the Department of Education. To better develop your grant proposal, the department or agency's home page will help you to learn more about its programs and objectives. Some government departments or agencies even have web pages specially designed for specific types of grantseekers. Click here for a list of and links to all the federal departments and agencies.

Annual Grants Workshop:

Each year, Congressman Royce hosts a workshop on grants. The grant process can be complicated and often confusing, especially for those in the non-profit community. There are many questions about where to look, who to contact, how to fill out applications, and about the process in general. This workshop is a chance for him to bring together those involved in the grants process, including grant seekers and grant providers.

The 2005 event will be held Thursday, September 8th in Buena Park. Details will be posted as the become available. Please call Congressman Royce's grants coordinator at (714) 992-8081 for more information on this year's workshop.
