Carter: Kids’ Page in E-Newsletter
Congressman Carter emails an electronic newsletter, containing two pages for kids, every week to subscribed constituents. The kids’ page allows the children to become more involved in government while also allowing Congressman Carter to easily communicate with over 42,000 constituents on a weekly basis (even within the 90-day election deadline).
Diaz-Balart, Mario: Hurricane Season Preparedness
Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart has developed a franked mail piece, e-newsletter, a web page and scheduled a tour of the National Hurricane Center that focuses on hurricane season preparedness. These documents encourage constituents to be as prepared as possible for this year’s hurricane season. Although not all districts are affected by hurricanes, these items can easily be tailored for forest fires, droughts, tornadoes, earthquakes, flooding or other possible natural disasters.
