Children, Families and Workers Will Be Committee's First Priority The first three priorities for the House Education and Workforce Committee in the 110th Congress will be to increase the national minimum wage, reauthorize the No Child Left Behind Act, and make college more affordable. "We will work to ensure not only that the economy grows, but that all families benefit from it," Rep. Miller said.
