Baird's Traveling District Office
Congressman Brian Baird has launched a new service for
third district residents: a traveling district office.
Every Friday congressional staffers will travel throughout
the third district to help residents who are having trouble
with federal agencies like the Department of Veterans Affairs
and the Social Security Administration, or with federal
services like Medicare. Congressional staffers will still
be available to assist third district residents at Congressman
Baird's Vancouver, Olympia, and Washington D.C. offices.
An important part of my job is connecting Southwest Washington residents
with government services. Since I took office in 1999, I have helped
over 5,000 people resolve problems with federal government agencies.
The traveling district office is another way I can help serve the
residents of the third district.
