Senator Santorum Issues Statement Regarding the Tragic School Shooting in Lancaster County
October 3, 2006
York, PA – U.S. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), today issued a statement regarding the shooting at an Amish School in Lancaster County.
“Karen and I send our thoughts and prayers to the individuals and families affected by today’s tragic events in Lancaster County. As parents, we can only imagine the grief and pain they are feeling at this time. This is a terrible, terrible tragedy.
“We already have seen the families of the Amish community come together for strength and support from one another; I encourage my fellow Pennsylvanians to show the same compassion during this time.”
