The Republican policy on homeland security has left America critically vulnerable to the terrorist threat. Although the non-partisan 9/11 Commission released its findings over two years ago, the Republican Congress has failed to act on the recommendations of the Commission, allowing glaring deficiencies to remain. As a result, our nation remains unsafe. Democrats propose a plan for real security, which will ensure that America is protected from any threat. Democrats will work to rebuild a state-of-the-art military and will work to transform the Bush Administration’s failed policies in the Middle East. Click here to learn more.

We have a reputation that we must enjoy in the world in order to keep the American people safe, in order to promote freedom around the world. ”
