Washington, Nov 5 - U.S. House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) issued the following statement after Saddam Hussein was found guilty of crimes against humanity:

"This verdict is a victory for justice and a victory for the Iraqi people and all freedom loving people in the Middle East. With this verdict, the people of Iraq can take yet one more step away from the tyranny and oppression of years past, and one more step towards the promise of democracy and freedom that is their destiny."
