Food is the fuel of life. Our bodies are nourished from the proteins, natural minerals and vitamins naturally found within the foods we eat. The Committee examines food programs for the needy to assure their availability and nutrition value, as well as encouraging a balanced diet among the general population, and most importantly ensuring that food is safely grown, prepared and delivered.
