College costs are on the rise. According to recently released reports from the College Board, most students and their families can expect to pay, on average, from $112 to $1,190 more than last year for this year’s tuition and fees, depending on the type of college.

Congressman Lipinski opposes cuts to benefits for higher education students. On July 1st, dramatic cuts - including $12 billion from the federal student aid programs - became effective. This cut, which comes at a time when families are already struggling with rising college costs, is the largest single cut to the federal student aid program ever.
